Perpie...The Soul

An early childhood music education enthusiast and practitioner, Perpie as she is fondly called, is a soulful and inspirational saxophonist, musician and teacher. She is often remembered for her warm and charming tone on the saxophone. She was the best graduating student of the prestigious Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education where she

studied Music Education and the 2nd best graduating from the MUSON Diploma School of Music. She has earnestly followed up on Music Education teaching in top rated schools including the Lagos Preparatory School, Ikoyi and Binta International Schools. She also tutored beginners at the MUSON School of Music upon graduating in 2011 and gives private lessons to little children and adults on saxophone playing, singing, guitar basics and music theory in practice. She has successfully presented her students for examinations which they have passed with Distinctions.

After five years of studying Music Education and Performance, she has decided to merge her passion for the arts/music education with her love for children. She attended a professiojnal training in early childhood music education with MT in New York. She passed with distinction and Merits, the Grades eight (8) and seven (7), ABRSM London, Trinity Guildhall London and MUSON, performance examinations. Perpetual performed with the band and the MUSON Diploma School Choir at the International Society for Music Education (ISME) in China. In 2013, she opened the Jazz Night event of the MUSON Festival which featured Femi Kuti and Yinka Davies. She has also performed at live concerts that featured Hip Hop and soul artistes, such as Lami, Sound Sultan, Djinee, Kel etc. She has remarkably graced the MUSON stage several times. 

She is also a member of GirlsRule (all-female) band that was featured at the NLNG crossover concert in 2014. They also performed at the Bay Lounge and the 2-015 MUSON Jazz Night recently.She manages and produces events at the MUSON, (Musical Society of Nigeria).
Perpetual is married and blessed with lovely children.
