Recounting Moments from Bonny Island

For the first time in like forever, i had to be away from church, from my family and from Lagos city to attend and perform at the Bonny Island Cross Over Concert in Port Harcourt.

For me, it was a fun filled event but when it came down to the main reason we were there,

performance, our delivery was somewhat flat as the opening choice did not seem appropriate. Prior to the event proper, we came in for a sound check and the entire place was quaking and passers by stopped by to see what was happening. An all-female band turning the island into a musical state.

Somethings are so beautiful that you almost do not want to let it go but when you sit down to consider the aches that come with it, you do not think twice. This brings about the story of letting go of something as beautiful as an all-female band that brought so many hope, joy and love. Many other reasons lay under but for now, this is all i can share.
