MUSON is at it again... two interesting operatic singers storm the stage
During her three years at Truman, Agatha
continued the outstanding performances for which she had become recognized for
during her time at MUSON. Her awards include:

Grand-Prize
Winner International Club’s International Idol Competition (November 2011).
·
Truman
State University Vice President’s List (2011/2012/2013).
·
African
Student association’s Excellence Award (2012/2013).
·
Awarded the
Bernice Humphrey Clark Vocal Music Scholarship for excellence in the study of
voice (2012 and 2013).
Jo Oparamanuike, a Nigerian Chemical Engineer turned Opera Singer, studied Master
of Music Opera (MMus Opera) at the Alexander Gibson Opera School (AGOS), Royal
Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS), under the tutelage of Scott Johnson. He also
holds a Post Graduate Diploma (PGDip) in Singing. His entire music education in
Scotland was supported by RCS Trust Fund Scholarship. He holds a Licentiate of
the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM) in Singing and a Diploma of the Associated
Board of Royal Schools of Music (DipABRSM) in Vocal Teaching. He also holds
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of
Technology, Owerri, Nigeria.
